Is this Masonic?
This late 19th century clock is being sold at Sheffield Auction Galleries with an estimate of £100-200.
It is a mantel clock - the striking movement is contained within a black enamelled spherical case, mounted on a nickel-plated stand with turned marble pillar and adjustable feet.
Looking like a derrick/compass and spherical ashlar, it has an ebonised base and measures 43.5cm high.
The auction house wonders if it is Masonic.
