The Grand Master, the Duke of Kent, has given us a glimpse into his Royal life. This is from Mail online.
A tangle of electrical cables, a digital radio and a tired beige carpet: Intimate portrait reveals the Queen's cousins taking afternoon tea in their sister's private home
Has the Queen’s amusing video clip with Prince Harry and the Obamas encouraged members of the Royal Family to start sharing their private lives online?
An intimate portrait of Her Majesty’s cousins, Prince Michael and the Duke of Kent has been posted on social media by their great-niece Flora Ogilvy.
The picture, taken at Thatched House Lodge, home to the men’s sister, Princess Alexandra, lays bare the faded grandeur of the Grade II-listed grace-and-favour London property.

A tangle of electrical cables can be seen on the tired beige carpet beneath an unattractive glass table where a £117 Pure Evoke portable radio has pride of place.
Displayed on the antique chest of drawers are framed photographs of family members including the Queen Mother, Alexandra’s mother Princess Marina of Greece, and Flora’s father James Ogilvy with his two children.
On the armchair beside the Duke, who is looking at a diary, is a cushion emblazoned with the wedding crest of Alexandra and her late husband, businessman Sir Angus Ogilvy.
Seated on a footstool next to the coffee table covered in china tea cups is Prince Michael, wearing an avuncular Argyle patterned sweater.
‘Beautiful family tea on Russian Easter Sunday in Richmond Park,’ comments aspiring actress Flora, 22, next to the photo taken at the weekend.
The royals have a strong Russian connection and the Prince is a dead ringer for murdered Tsar Nicholas, his relative.
It can’t be long before the family start posting nude selfies in the bathroom a la reality TV’s Kardashian clan.
